Very good, battery is optimistic
Light quality is excellent and the build is solid. The 12-hour battery claim is closer to 9 hours at the brightness I actually use. Not a dealbreaker — it charges fast over USB-C — but worth knowing.

Why we built it
Cheap lamps flicker. You will not see it in a product photo, but after three hours your eyes will. Aurora uses a constant-current driver at 42kHz — roughly 350 times faster than the flicker most budget lamps produce — and then diffuses the output twice before it reaches your page.
Colours look the way they do in daylight, which matters for design work, homework and makeup.
A warmer, dimmer setting that cuts blue output by about 40% for late reading.
Carry it to the sofa, the balcony or the garden without hunting for a socket.

After dark
Hold the touch ring for two seconds and Aurora drops to 2700K at 15% brightness — enough to read a page, not enough to reset your body clock. It is the setting our testers used most, and the one that shows up in reviews again and again.
“I bought it for my daughter’s desk and ended up buying a second one for mine. The warm setting is the reason.”

Questions
The questions our support team answers most about this product.
Yes. The Aurora runs from USB-C power and charges at the same time. At full brightness, a 5V/2A adapter is enough to hold the battery level.
The panel is diffused and the surface stays under 40°C after four hours. It is ETL listed and has no exposed LED points. For children under six, we still recommend the clamp version mounted out of reach.
About 12 hours at 30% brightness, 6 hours at 60%, and 3.5 hours at maximum. Battery life settles after two full charge cycles.
The lamp ships with a USB-C cable and no wall adapter, so it works anywhere with any 5V/2A USB charger, including UK and EU plugs.
Message support@glvsae.com with your order number and a photo. We ship a replacement without asking you to return the broken unit.
