GLVSAE started in 2018 with a simple frustration: affordable desk lamps either looked like office equipment or flickered enough to give you a headache. So we spent two years on diffusers, drivers and colour temperature curves before we sold a single unit.
Today we make a small, deliberate range of lighting and timekeeping objects. Every product has to pass three questions: does it solve a real daily annoyance, can we make it for a fair price, and would we keep it in our own home?

Design notes

A lamp is a piece of furniture you touch every day. We obsess over the parts nobody photographs — the hinge tension, the touch delay, the colour of the light at 11pm.
