Aurora LED Desk Lamp

My 6am corner is finally usable

Small rental, one window, no overhead light. The Aurora on the 4500K setting plus a cheap shelf from Facebook Marketplace and I actually enjoy working here now. The warm setting at night is the reason I stopped using the big light.

This is exactly the setup we had in mind. The 4500K setting is underrated for daytime work.

Solstice Sunset Projection Lamp

Sunset lamp + rainy Vancouver = correct

Bought the Solstice for my partner as a joke gift. It has not been turned off since. Amber film, aimed at the ceiling corner, about 4ft from the wall. It genuinely changes the room on a grey day.

GrillSync Wireless Meat Thermometer

Six-hour brisket, zero oven checks

GrillSync on the top rack, probe in the flat, alarm at 203°F. Sat in the garden with a beer for six hours. The range held through a brick wall at about 40m. Best €70 I have spent on BBQ gear.

GlowPath Motion Sensor Night Light

Nursery light that does not wake the baby

GlowPath at ankle height on the wall next to the crib. Warm enough to see what I am doing at 3am, dim enough that she stays asleep. The magnetic mount means I can grab it to charge without waking her.
