A night light that turns on half a second late is a night light you stub your toe on. GlowPath uses a PIR sensor with a 0.3-second trigger and a 20-second hold, so it stays on while you walk and turns itself off after you leave.

How long does the battery really last?

About 45 days with 10–15 triggers a night at 20 seconds each. In a busy hallway, expect three to four weeks.

Can it stay plugged in?

Yes. It runs from USB-C indefinitely. The battery is bypassed, so there is no degradation from constant charging.

Will it wake a baby?

At 25 lumens and 2700K it is dimmer than most baby monitors. Most parents mount it at ankle height so the light stays below the crib.

Does it work on wallpaper?

The adhesive plate holds on painted drywall and tile. On delicate wallpaper, use the screw mount or place it on a shelf.
